Psoriasis patients’ preferences for interventions to prevent psoriatic arthritis

This poster shows the willingness of psoriasis patients to consider preventive therapy to lower the risk of developing psoriatic arthritis (PsA). We used an online questionnaire to investigate the thresholds of risk of developing PsA and the risk of mild, moderate and severe side effects. The results show a high acceptability for preventive interventions, as approximately 90% of patients would accept or consider preventive treatment. Interestingly, patients would accept a preventive intervention, even if they come with a risk of side effects.
