HOW TO GET THE MOST OUT OF YOUR VIRTUAL EVENT EXPERIENCE
Welcome to the GRAPPA Annual Meeting and Trainee Symposium 2025!
Here is a brief overview of how this virtual environment works:
MY PROFILE
We have already entered some of your information, including your name and email address. For your security, please change your password at this time. Feel free to add additional information such as your website address, job title, biographical information, and country. Please be sure to upload an image of yourself - this image will also appear in any session listings for which you are a speaker. You may also change if you are attending online or onsite. When you have finished, please click Update, and please click on View My Profile to confirm your information has been entered correctly.
SCHEDULE
The schedule provides the list of sessions throughout the event, and the on demand recordings. This location will also be the place where you can go back and view recorded content from the event.
To watch during the live sessions, click on the Join Session button toward the top of the Home Page and on the top right of the Schedule. This will launch the player.
For virtual attendees:
Once the video player has launched, as long as there is a session running, you can watch the session live. You will see that you have several controls at the bottom of your player window:
Screen Options button – includes options for which screen is full screen and for the player to be full screen.
Event Info – information from the event website, including the Schedule.
Chat – Ask a question for speakers and chat with your fellow attendees.
Support button – Launches a help page.
For in person attendees:
Fullscreen button – Makes the player full screen.
Event Info – information from the event website, including the Schedule.
Chat – Ask a question for speakers and chat with your fellow attendees.
Support button – Launches a help page.
SPEAKERS
This area provides access to more information about the session speakers by simply clicking on the speaker's image to learn more about them.
CORPORATE PARTNERS
This area provides a list of sponsors for the event. Click on each sponsor logo to learn more.
TRAINEE ABSTRACTS
This area provides access to view the poster presentations by simply clicking on the poster image to connect and learn more.
NETWORKING
This will open up the Networking space, where you can chat with other attendees in chat rooms, you can also have one-on-one video chats with individual participants. Please view the Networking Guide for more instructions.
ATTENDEES SECTION
In the Attendees section, you can find all of the registered attendees. You can click on their icon to visit their My Profile page to learn more about them.
